About Brandi

I left my career as a college admissions advisor to go back to school with the goal of helping others in a new capacity. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from UTA, I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. Ever since then, I have been providing therapy for people suffering from mental health struggles, addiction, eating disorders, and life challenges. I use an eclectic approach that includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotional Transformation Therapy, and some components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It is my goal to help clients find their inner strength and capacity for healing. I am a believer that life is meant to be purposeful and celebrated, not suffered through. Being recovered from addiction myself for 10+ years, I wholeheartedly know that recovery is not just possible, it is fulfilling and beautiful. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, meditating, traveling, spending time with my husband and children, and connecting with friends and family.

My Logo

I believe that the counselor-client relationship is a journey of connection and a reciprocal dynamic of sharing, receiving, understanding, and commencing action. That is why my logo is an infinity, which represents balance, empowerment, and endless possibility.

Balance: when the client is continually investing in the counseling process, then they are continually healing and moving.

Empowerment: there is a crucial connection between reaching out for help and growth.

Endless Possibility: I have witnessed many times over the years, people move from a place of hopelessness to a place of confidence, passion, and victory.

The feather represents the lifting of one’s burdens, ascension, and transcendence.
